Comment
Pacy right back Rosenior, the son of robust forward of the 1980s Leroy, began his career at Bristol City but was soon snapped up by Fulham and playing in the top flight.  He then moved to Reading but fell out of favour in 2009/10, spending much of the season on loan at Ipswich before being released on a free transfer.  He was picked for the City first team immediately after signing and quickly made the right back berth his own with a string of confident and reassuring displays. By 2011/12 Rosenior was widely regarded as the finest attacking right back in the Championship, committed to the Tigers and their (ultimately slightly deficient) quest to return to the top flight.  He featured as a squad player the following season as Steve Bruce favoured a wing back formation, returning to the side in the Premier League next season after signing a contract extension. City's return to the top flight proved the making of Rosenior, whose energy and maturity saw him forge a permanent role in the first team once again, opening his goalscoring account late in the season against West Bromwich Albion. But the second relegation season saw Rosenoir largely overlooked, partly down to a nasty injury, and he left the club in June 2015 with the fans' blessing, signing a three year deal on the South Coast with Reading.  Rosenior signed off with two eulogies to the club and its supporters in the Hull Daily Mail, a very welcomed gesture.
